Trailer loading history

This trailer is one of the most ingenious produced by the American army.

 It was capable of driving at a good pace both on-road and off-road.
It was naturally stable thanks to its four wheels mounted in tandem, its low attachment point and its lowered boom. 

When stationary, it rested on four jacks. It could be equipped with small rear ramps or a sideboard allowing easy loading, further facilitated by the possibility of tilting its axles towards the rear. The American army used it in numerous tasks.
