The GBC 180 is a 6x6 tactical truck used mainly by the French armed forces. It is equipped with a MIDR 06.02.26 inline 6-cylinder diesel engine with turbo intercooler, available in 275 or 323 horsepower versions. Its 6x6 all-wheel drive allows it to operate on all types of terrain. The vehicle has a top speed of 87 km/h and a range of 800 km, with an average fuel consumption of 30 liters per 100 kilometers.

With an unladen weight of 12.6 tons, the GBC 180 can carry up to 4 tons of payload or accommodate 20 soldiers in the rear, in addition to the 3 crew members in the cab.

This versatile truck is used to transport personnel, cargo, and shelters, as well as for specialized missions such as breakdown assistance and refueling.

The GBC 180 is a modernized version of the Berliet GBC 8 KT, with a more modern cab and a more powerful engine, announced in 1997.
