History of T1 Turret Bastion

The Bastion is a modular range of 12.5-ton armored vehicles. Its chassis, derived from the VLRA 4x4, makes no compromises between tactical mobility, robustness, and simplified maintenance. In 2019, the Bastion range was enhanced with a new 270 hp engine. Two engine options are now available (the previous one was 180 hp). This new range fully reflects ARQUUS's ability to improve vehicle performance. The company continues to constantly refine its systems.

Alongside the Volvo-supplied engine upgrade, 60 Bastion armored hulls were produced at the Garchizy site in 2019. At the beginning of this year, the production milestone of the 1000th VLRA/Bastion chassis was reached. ARQUUS has developed the Bastion in several variants, such as the Bastion APC, Patsas, and Fortress. Exporting is a key component of ARQUUS's business model: in 2019, 42% of the brand's firm orders came from abroad. Unsurprisingly, the Bastion was among the top export deliveries of the past year.
