This diorama was created to illustrate the technology and operational capabilities of the armed forces. It was produced for the Army’s Recruitment and Selection Division.

In the center of the scene, a PPLOG and a VT4 are parked on a dirt road covered in dust. These vehicles, showing signs of wear from a long journey, blend into the natural surroundings where wild vegetation grows around them, contrasting with the military and utilitarian appearance of the machines.

The two soldiers, dressed in their combat gear, have left the vehicles to inspect the terrain. One scans the horizon, looking for clues about their progress, while the other scrutinizes it closely.

The details of the scene, from the dense vegetation to the pebbles scattered along the path, are rendered with care, enhancing the sense of immersion in this situation. The calm, suspended atmosphere of the moment is made even more palpable by the composition of the scene, giving the impression that the soldiers are at a pivotal moment in their mission.
