History of the Sherman M32 ARV on Solido base
The M32 is above all defined as an all-tracked recovery and recovery vehicle. Because the M4 Sherman was the subject of multiple production variants, the M32 was also produced with the same particularities as this one.
The most notable variants are: the M32B1 built on a molded body of the M4A1, the M32B2 which was produced in very few copies on a body of the M4A2 with diesel engine and the M32B3 produced on a component of the M4A3. Note that certain vehicles have been finalized with an HVSS suspension on a general technical level.
The M32 has a winch with a hauling capacity of 27 tonnes, a lifting goat of 4.5 tonnes and a certain number of spare parts allowing rapid repair of a broken down tank without having to bring it back to regimental maintenance workshops.
