We are delighted to unveil our latest creation: a faithful replica of the Renault Trucks TRM 10000, equipped with COBRA (Counter Battery Radar), now available in the Gaso.line range in 1/87 scale.
An iconic military vehicle
The TRM 10000 is a 6x6 all-terrain military truck designed in the 1980s by Renault Véhicules Industriels (RVI) to meet the logistical needs of the French army. Entering service in 1987, it is capable of carrying up to 10 tonnes of payload on all types of terrain.
Versatile and robust, it has been produced in numerous versions: troop transport, cargo, artillery tractor, breakdown service, and shelter carrier. Approximately 1,200 units were produced, well below the 5,000 units initially planned.
The COBRA version: technology and precision
One of the most remarkable variants is the TRM 10000 COBRA, developed to accommodate the COBRA counter-battery radar. This system, the result of European cooperation, can detect and locate enemy artillery fire in real time, giving French forces the ability to respond quickly and accurately. Ten units were delivered in 2005, and these vehicles have been undergoing modernisation since 2024.
A rare kit, designed with care
This kit was developed in collaboration with Nicolas Marty and is part of our commitment to offering rare, well-designed models that are faithful to reality. Still rarely represented in 1/87 scale, the TRM 10000 COBRA now takes its rightful place in our collection with an exceptional level of finish.
To faithfully reproduce its complex shapes, the kit combines traditional resin and 3D-printed resin, a technical choice that guarantees precision in detail, strength and ease of assembly.
