History of model PPLOG COBRA

The PPLOG COBRA is a counter-battery radar developed in the 1980s by France, Germany, and the United Kingdom, in collaboration with manufacturers such as Thales and Lockheed-Martin. Operational since the 2000s, it can detect up to 40 enemy batteries within a radius of 100 km in less than two minutes.

Originally mounted on a TRM 10000 truck, it is now integrated into the PPLOG (Porteur Polyvalent Logistique), a modern and versatile vehicle, as part of an ongoing renovation program. Deployed in Lebanon and Ukraine, this system is an example of international cooperation and technological innovation, remaining a key tool for modern armed forces.
