History of the Laffly V15T tractor for 25 mm AC

The light cavalry tractor for 25 AC, is a derivative of the new W15T from which it takes the independent wheel system, the steering and the lowered body. The rear compartment has a series of 5 chests for ammunition and packages.

Because of the low profile, the seats are flush with the floor and the crew is seated in a very uncomfortable position with their legs almost horizontal. At the end of 1938, the Laffly tractor was adapted by the cavalry and ordered 100 copies then 1386 copies to be delivered before the end of September 1940. Approximately, less than 200 copies will be delivered in June 1940.
