History of the French 25 mm Hotchkiss anti-tank gun

The 25 mm Hotchkiss cannon was the most widespread anti-tank weapon in the French army in 1940. More than 3,000 copies were produced and several nations used it. The 25mm was effective against all German light armor at 300-400 m and could destroy a Panzer IV at close range, but with the heavy machine guns many anti-tank crews paid the price.
