History of CRAB Phanhard Mistral shooting range

In 2011, Panhard is developing a new armored vehicle with an innovative design as part of the Scorpion program launched by the French Armaments Directorate, called the Combat Reconnaissance Armoured Buggy (CRAB).

Thanks to their specific mobility and firepower, CRAB units are highly versatile, enabling them to participate effectively and efficiently in all three phases of operations (intervention, stabilization, normalization), acting on the offensive, on the defensive and in securing operations.

It could be officially proposed to the French army as part of the Scorpion program, replacing the AMX-10 RC, ERC-90, Sagaie or VBL.
