History of the Chevrolet panel K-70
Chevrolet, nicknamed "Chevy", is an American automobile brand which became a division of the American company General Motors in May 1918. The Panel van is an all-metal bodied van with two rear doors. It was built between the end of 1940 and the beginning of 1943.
It measures 2.3m high by 2.18m wide and is produced in 3,658 copies under the name Panel. Almost all of the examples manufactured are used to create a radio vehicle for the Signal Corps intended for long-distance ground-to-ground connections.
