History of Centaure gendarmerie

An innovative program for the Gendarmerie! 49 years after the launch of the VBRG (Véhicules Blindés à Roues de la Gendarmerie), the new Centaure program, which calls for the deployment of 90 new armored vehicles, is up and running. 

Deployed from 2022 within the first units, including the GBGM (Groupement Blindé de la Gendarmerie Mobile) at Versailles-Satory, the Centaure has been conceived and designed as a multi-purpose armored vehicle, capable of transporting ten personnel (three operators and seven passengers) on all types of missions and terrain. An innovative vehicle, part of a constantly evolving eponymous program.
