History of the CCA5 refueling tanker truck
The Operational Energy Service (SEO)
Formerly the Army Fuels Service (SEA), the SEO is a joint service responsible for supplying all armed forces everywhere. It is a joint service of the French Army reporting to the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces. The SEO is responsible for the supply, storage, distribution and quality of fuels and lubricants for the benefit of land vehicles, aircraft and ships of the various French armies and the National Gendarmerie.
Creation of the SEA in 1940. The MORE-RR5 or CCA5 refueling boat in the SEO version is a compact vehicle which is perfectly suited to gun refueling on base or in operation. Its modular design and unrivaled ergonomics make it a refueling vehicle perfectly suited to the needs of military bases.
With its 4 x 4 chassis, the refueller gains mobility. The CCA5 is rather dedicated to air bases and with its capacity of 5000l, it is aimed at small planes or helicopters. If necessary it can also be deployed in OPEX.
