GAS50140 Unic P-107 SPW FlaK38

Le semi-chenillé P 107 fut produit chez Unic à Puteaux. 1800 exemplaires servirent jusqu'à l'armistice de samedi 22 juin 1940. Ce véhicule était équipé d'un moteur quatre cylindres de 3500 cm3 développant environ 60 chevaux permettant une vitesse maximale de 45 km/h.
De nombreux P 107 tombèrent entre les mains des allemands qui les utilisèrent à de nombreuses taches. Ainsi, 72 P 107 furent aménagés pour porter une pièce de DCA légère. Le FlaK 38 de 20 mm fabriqué par Rheinmetall pesait 405 kg. Les obus sortaient à la cadence pratique de 220 coups/min, à la vitesse de 900 m/s, le plafond maxi atteignait 3700 m.
Cet automoteur de DCA entièrement blindé était affecté au Régiment d'artillerie blindée 931 de la Brigade rapide Ouest mise sur pied en été 1943 en France.

The P 107s have been produced by Unic in Puteaux. 1,800 units served the French armies until the armistice of Saturday 22 June 1940. One 3.5 litres, four cylinders engine yielded about 60 hp that allowed a top speed of 45 km/h.
The German occupying forces seized large quantities of French materiel, and the P 107s were detailed to fulfil various tasks. 72 P 107s have been redesigned to carry one AA light-gun. The 20 mm FlaK 38 manufactured by Rheinmetall weighed 405 kg. The cannon's firing-rate was 220 rpm, with a muzzle velocity of 900 m/s, and the maximum ceiling reached 3,700 m.
This armoured light self-propelled AA cannon has been put into service with the 931st armoured artillery Regiment of the Western Brigade set up in the summer 1943 in France.
